Luang Prabang was the ancient royal city of Laos. It sets at the confluence of the Nam Khan and Mekong Rivers. It was at one time known as Muang Xieng Thong – the City of Gold, today, 30 golden temples still rose up. The city is plentiful of its French Indochinese architecture, Theravada Buddhist temples and a magical atmosphere. |
